Lauren & Drew had an amazing wedding at Cairnwood this past weekend opening our 2010 wedding season here at Artistic Imagery. Cairnwood Mansion, in Bryn Athyn, is an fantastic venue, even in winter! This couple and bridal party braved the cold in order to chase down the last moments of sunlight and got some great photos on the grounds.
Lauren & Drew also rented out the Glencairn Museum for their guests to enjoy during the time between the ceremony and cocktail hour. Planned activities are a great way for your guests to enjoy their day to the fullest and the Museum had some of the most spectacular views of Northeast Philadelphia I had ever seen. You could even see the Philly skyline in the distance!
The party was fantastic as Matt Blank from Synergetic Sounds (http://www.synergeticsounds.blogspot.com/) kept the dance floor packed all night. My favorite details of the day: the blue fox coat the bride borrowed from her mom, the custom made dress hanger with the bride’s new last name, and the unique cake and cake topper! This cake had the name of every guest which was a detailed everyone loved! Of course we also loved the engagement collection that was on display! (check out the earlier blog post called “An engagement collection… done differently”)
It was hard to pick just a few of our favorite shots…
