Spring is finally here and the team at Artistic Imagery is very excited for engagement session season! Now is the time to start thinking about scheduling your fun and relaxed portrait session with your photographer. Our schedules fill up quickly for on location shoots so feel free to give the studio a call to add an engagement session to your wedding package or schedule the session included in your package. It’s a great time and really allows our couples to get comfortable in front of the camera and get some amazing images.
Below are a few shots from a session in downtown Philadelphia for Danielle and Jason last week. We were lucky with a great day of sunshine and amazing weather.

One of Artistic Imagery’s many favorite things to photograph is a growing family. Erinn and Bill got married on May 31, 2008, which Artistic Imagery photographed. On February 23, 2010, they had a little boy Carson Joseph, which we had the honor of photographing. We loved Erinn and Bill’s duck themed nursery! There is nothing more special than the interaction between parents and their newborn. For this family, “Life is ducky!”

Lauren and Michael’s wedding took place on a gorgeous day in March. With the cold, wet weather finally breaking, this couple took full advantage and took their portraits outdoors. All day the vibe was really relaxed, the family was super friendly and extremely excited. Artistic Imagery was thrilled to be there for such an amazing day! There were some really beautiful details that made this wedding unique. How special it was that the father of the bride was able to give the sermon at his daughter’s wedding. The whole day had an air of sincerity that shown in their photographs. The bridal party was a goofy and out-going bunch that made shooting their wedding photographs fun and animated. Congratulations Lauren and Michael!

With winter coming to an end, the Ninja’s are back! On March 6th, Michael Forliano and his groomsmen decided to show up our other Ninja’s by creating a group shot. These boys did not want to be out done, so they gave us their spring time super ninja attack. Good job guys. Updated pictures from this wedding will be up later this week.

What do brides and animals normally have in common? Usually nothing, but in this case
Artistic Imagery, a professional social and commercial photography service located here at 2219 Galloway Road, has created a common bond with its new “Focus On The Animals Program” benefiting The Pennsylvania SPCA.
In making the announcement, Nicholas A. Albert, vice president of sales and marketing for Artistic Imagery, the sponsoring organization for Focus On The Animals, says that his company has committed to raising $5,000 for the Pennsylvania SPCA which he estimates will work out to about $20 for every bride who books their wedding photographs with his photography studio over the next year. “In addition,” he explains, “Artistic Imagery will be providing pro bono professional photography services to the animal cruelty prevention charity at various events throughout the year. We are excited and delighted to be able to offer our help and resources to such a worthwhile organization and humane mission.”
Any brides who are interested in participating in The Focus On The Animals Pennsylvania SPCA benefit, may contact Artistic Imagery at 215-245-7770 or on the web at www.artisticimagery.com.
“We are so happy to have formed this fund raising partnership with Artistic Imagery for 2010,” states Holly Russel, development associate:special events and corporate giving for the Pennsylvania SPCA.
“Financial support from our communities and from local businesses is crucial to helping us accomplish our mission of rescuing animals from abuse and neglect and giving them a second chance. Artistic Imagery and its clients should feel great knowing that they are helping us save animal’s lives.”
Since 1867, the Pennsylvania SPCA, non-profit 501(c) organization headquartered in Philadelphia, has been dedicated to rescuing animals from abuse and neglect, providing lifesaving care and treatment and reducing pet overpopulation through low-cost spay and neuter clinics. Through these efforts, the Pennsylvania
SPCA prevents cruelty toward animals and promotes respect for their welfare, thus enhancing the lives of people and their companion animals throughout the state of Pennsylvania.
The Pennsylvania SPCA operates adoption centers in Wellboro Hall, Danville, and Montrose, Pennsylvania. The Philadelphia center, located at 350 E. Erie Ave., houses an animal hospital, obedience training academy, adoption facility and the Pennsylvania SPCA Humane Enforcement Department. Philadelphia’s Animal Care And Control Team (ACCT), powered by the Pennsylvania SPCA, is contracted
by the city to perform animal control, as well as finding homes for Philadelphia’s thousands of stray and surrendered animals via rescue, foster care and adoption. For more information about adopting, donating or volunteering, call 215-426-6300 or visit www.pspca.org.

Kelly & Mario had a fantastic wedding at Celebrations even though there was a ton of snow on the ground! Seems like we had our fair share of snowy days this winter and have the wedding photos to prove it. Artistic Imagery had a great time with this couple and their son, Devin, getting some fun images in the well shoveled gardens at Celebrations. Favorite details of the day: the pink and red theme that was all around, the bride and bridesmaids custom made capes (by the bride’s very talented Mom!), how excited the couple’s son Devin was the whole day, and the photo booth props!
