Drum roll please, presenting our first client NINJA OF THE WEEK! Artistic Imagery is proud to present Kristine and Lou as our NOTW. This awesome display of funky skills was documented during an on location engagement session last year. Not only were we super excited about how high Lou can get his leg but the carefree attitude of this couple made our team very excited to photograph their wedding last October. Their wedding album is in the process of being finalized and we can’t wait to share some images with all our blog readers soon!

Jackie Elizabeth turned one this month and Artistic Imagery was there to document her wonderful cuteness. Not only was this little one full of spunk, she hosted a spectacular tea party for one very special friend. It is always an honor to photograph such a fun event for a family and we had a blast at their home. At home photo shoots are always a great way to get natural expressions since your children are in the most comfortable place they know.
Happy Birthday Jackie Elizabeth from your family photography team at Artistic Imagery!

Here at Artistic Imagery, Inc. our team believes that each and every one of our clients deserves to receive the very best from their photography package. Unlike other studios, our staff spends a lot of time and energy creating the proof sets that are included in packages and presented to our clients. During the color correction process we touch each and every image, checking for perfect exposures, kicking up a bit of the contrast and saturation and making sure that each image is print ready. We do this in an effort to enhance our photographs, not correct improperly taken pictures. Our DVDs of images include print ready images, not camera raw files, which means they should look great when our clients utilize the print release given with all our DVDs. Despite the effort that we put into creating each proof set, our proof books are ready just 14-21 business days after an event! We also offer retouching and art editing services to further enhance your photographs and professional prints which are a must for anything you plan to display in your home.
Below are a few before and after examples. The image on the left is the camera raw file, untouched, and the image on the right is the proof ready image.

Jackie & Jim celebrated their wedding day during a chilly afternoon at Celebrations in Bensalem. This wonderful couple decided to see each other before the ceremony since everything, (ceremony and reception), was at the same location. This allowed for an intimate first glance, time to enjoy the gardens at Celebrations for some relaxed photos, and for the couple to participate in their cocktail hour. It was really magical when this couple was together and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house during their first dance. Favorite details of the day: the awesome top hats which the guys pulled off with sass, the romantic connection between Jackie & Jim that was apparent all day, and that the green details in the tux and bridesmaid dress matched the new Artistic Imagery logo green!
Best wishes Jackie & Jim! Below are just a few of our favorite shots from the day…

The ninja of this week is our wonderful photographer Jamie! Jamie usually has sick ninja skills but they were limited by the fact that she was 9 months pregnant when this photo was taken.

We are also thrilled to announce the birth of Wesley Giambrone Dingman to Jamie and Rob! Wesley was born on January 5th at 3:35pm at Jamie and Rob’s home. He weighed in at 8lb 7ounces and 21 inches long. We are very excited for the arrival of this little one and send Jamie and Rob our love during this new adventure. Jamie will be out on maternity leave but the rest of the team is here to answer any questions any of her clients may have.
Here is the new happy family!

Lauren & Drew had an amazing wedding at Cairnwood this past weekend opening our 2010 wedding season here at Artistic Imagery. Cairnwood Mansion, in Bryn Athyn, is an fantastic venue, even in winter! This couple and bridal party braved the cold in order to chase down the last moments of sunlight and got some great photos on the grounds.
Lauren & Drew also rented out the Glencairn Museum for their guests to enjoy during the time between the ceremony and cocktail hour. Planned activities are a great way for your guests to enjoy their day to the fullest and the Museum had some of the most spectacular views of Northeast Philadelphia I had ever seen. You could even see the Philly skyline in the distance!
The party was fantastic as Matt Blank from Synergetic Sounds (http://www.synergeticsounds.blogspot.com/) kept the dance floor packed all night. My favorite details of the day: the blue fox coat the bride borrowed from her mom, the custom made dress hanger with the bride’s new last name, and the unique cake and cake topper! This cake had the name of every guest which was a detailed everyone loved! Of course we also loved the engagement collection that was on display! (check out the earlier blog post called “An engagement collection… done differently”)
It was hard to pick just a few of our favorite shots…

At Artistic Imagery, Inc we are blessed with some really creative couples. Lauren and Drew knew they wanted something different for their engagement session, which we were thrilled with. After bouncing back and forth some ideas it was settled that we would go to Eastern State Penitentiary (http://www.easternstate.org/). What a cool location for a shoot! This couple went all out for the session and came styled to match the surrounds. We did a great themed shoot and had to come up with a guest book design to match the unique photos. This couple choose to showcase their engagement collection in a custom made art edited engagement album. This album is 9×9 in size and will be on display at their wedding at Cairnwood this weekend. I am super excited to see the guests reactions when they check out Lauren and Drew’s different and artistic photo collection. Below are just a few spreads from their art edited engagement album.

Rebecca and Andrew’s winter wedding took place on yet another frigid day in December. Despite the cold, their love warmed them and everyone else around them. This super sweet couple gave off an amazing vibe and was a pleasure for Artistic Imagery, Inc to photograph. Their reception was held at Celebrations in Bensalem, PA and we were able to utilize the gardens for some great night portraits. The family really made us feel like part of the celebration and even made us a wedding tree ornament to take home which I proudly placed on my tree this year. We wish Rebecca and Andrew lots of joy in their new marriage and hope their love continues to grow.
